Getting There

Conveniently, the entire island of Anna Maria is seven miles long.  No Anna Maria Island rentals are too far out of the way. And this includes Pine Avenue!

If you are close enough, walking is the easiest travel option as the weather on Anna Maria Island is typically pleasant.  If the distance is a little too far for a walk, there are many places on the island for affordable bike or golf cart rentals.  For a more unique way to travel, the Anna Maria Island Trolley stops all along the island from 6 am to 10:30 pm daily.

Notable Restaurants

Harry’s Grill and Bistro is a popular casual dining restaurant located one block off of Pine Avenue. This local treasure has a bright and colorful décor and a large patio surrounded by palm trees and finished off with twinkle lights. Many evenings, you can sit and enjoy live acoustic bands as well.  If the ambience isn’t enough to sell you, maybe the food will be.  Harry’s offers classic bar and grill food.  You can find a giant Crispy Buffalo Chicken salad, meaty burgers, and lots of fresh fish.

If you are interested in grabbing some pizza, stop by Pizza Social on Pine Avenue. Pizza Social is not your typical takeout pizza joint—they make all of their dough and sauce from scratch every single day. Their thin crust pizza is fired in their imported Italian pizza oven and cooked to perfection each and every time.  All their ingredients are fresh, and sprinkled on your pizza with love, and a heavy hand.

In addition to pizza, Pizza Social offers fresh salads as well.  These salads come in small and large sizes, and are made with super fresh ingredients as well.  If you don’t want one of the salads on the menu, like the California salad with romaine, spinach, grilled corn, avocado, feta, and tortilla crisps, you can always create your own.

Toward the bay end of Pine Avenue is another locally owned store, Two Sides of Nature.  The shop prides itself in offering high quality resort wear, home décor, gifts, and much more. This store gets merchandise deliveries every single day, so you’ll never have the same shopping experience twice! While most of the clothing and accessories are geared towards women, you can find some unisex sweatshirts and T-shirts in the store. They also have a wide range of kids merchandise as well.
